MEMORIAL PRAYER
through the pain of your loss.
We were blessed to have Rocky in our lives for 9 years. He developed cancer. The vet made an exception and let us hold and comfort him as he put him down. The vet loved him too and we all cried.
I wrote this memorial prayer and the music for him. But I decided to modify it so it would work for our wonderful human loved ones as well as our four-legged friends. I hope it helps you
You closed your eyes the final time
Breathed your last and your spirit went away
To find new worlds and make new friends
Like us to love you every day…
If love's’the ticket to get home
For you there’s a big wide-open door

On legs or wings or paws…
